TOUCH-UP PAINT / ROCK CHIP REPAIR
The procedure is akin to a dentist drilling and filling a cavity. We begin by collecting your vehicle's paint information. This involves matching your vehicle's paint using the factory color code, determining whether the paint contains pearl or flakes, and researching whether the clear coat is tinted or also contains pearl or flakes.
Once we have the matched paint and clear coat for your vehicle, we proceed to clean and prepare the affected area by removing any loose paint or rust. The area is then cleaned again and filled with the color-matched paint. After the paint dries, we use a specialized tool to level the paint. Following this, we apply the clear coat, sand, compound, and polish the area to blend it seamlessly with the surrounding paint, completing the process.
